The veteran actor passed away at the age of 89 at his home in Mumbai. His funeral was held at the Vile Parle crematorium. After the last rites, celebs have been visiting the Deols to pay their respects and be with the grieving family.

He was last seen in the film ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. His last film will be ‘Ikkis’, directed by Sriram Raghavan. The movie is set to release in theaters on December 25, 2025.
