Dhurandhar 2‘ week 5 collections

The film that began its fifth week on a low note, earned just around Rs 2.70 crore on Friday. Over the weekend it saw good growth, earning Rs 4.65 crore and Rs 5.20 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. On Monday, however, its numbers dropped to an estimated Rs 1.62 crore and with Tuesday’s collection, it registered a total collection of Rs 16.17 crore net. Meanwhile, the film’s gross total for week 5 has hit an estimated Rs 19.28 crore.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ worldwide box office collections

‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ has achieved an all-India net collection of Rs 1,119.29 crore and a gross total of Rs 1,339.76 crore. With the adition of overseas collections of Rs 422 crore, the film has scored a worldwide total haul of Rs 1,761.76 crore.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ vs ‘Bhooth Bangla’

While ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has maintained its hold over the box office, the film has been facing stiff competition at the ticket windows from the new release ‘Bhooth Bangla’, starring Akshay Kumar. The film directed by Priyadarshan has bee eating into the spy film’s collections. The horror-comedy opened to a strong Rs 12.25 crore and went on to rake in Rs 19 crore and Rs 23 crore on Day 2 and Day 3, respectively. It saw a drop in collections on its first Monday, earning just around Rs 6.75 crore and earned Rs 7.65 crore net on Tuesday.It must be noted that the film has seen a huge decline in numbers while still in its first week. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar has held its grip, despite being in its fifth week at the box office.
